Korenix provides auto-topology visualization to efficiently manage industrial network performance in extreme outdoor environments

01 March 2010
Korenix has announced that its JetNet 4506- M12/RJ Outdoor Surveillance Managed Ethernet Switches now incorporate the new LLDP feature and can work with Korenix patented JetView Pro to provide auto-topology visualization to efficiently manage industrial network performance in IP surveillance networks.

The 6 Fast Ethernet ports of the switches come with rugged IP67 grade RJ45 and IP68 grade M12 D-coded connectors to provide robust protection eliminating link loss and data failure from constant vibration and shock in unconditioned outdoor surveillance networking applications, mobile deployments, etc.

To maximize video network performance and reliability, JetNet 4506-M12/RJ series features the Korenix next generation redundancy protocol - Rapid Super Ring, which recovers any link failure within just as much as 5 milliseconds. Furthermore, the rugged switches outstand from other similar devices with advanced management features including port-based VLAN, QoS, DHCP with option 82, optimized IGMP Query/Snooping for ensuring the high quality and efficient multicast multimedia video traffic delivery in industrial networks. System integrators can benefit from all these versatile management features and the LLDP functions for reducing maintenance efforts and costs.

Featuring the patented mechanical design of waterproof, dust-tight, anti-corrosion, anti-explosion, anti-vibration/shock enclosure and wide operating temperature, the switches overcome the toughest challenges to guarantee the reliable management of the surveillance networks in the extreme outdoor environments.
